WHAT IS MY EYEDROP?

PRESIONE AQUÍ PARA ESPAÑOL

COLOR CODES FOR YOUR TOPICAL MEDICATIONS

IF YOUR OPHTHALMOLOGIST STARTED A TOPICAL MEDICATION, IT IS PERTINENT TO KEEP TRACK OF YOUR MEDICATIONS. IN ADDITION TO THE NAME, THE COLOR OF THE CAP WILL HELP YOU. THERE ARE MANY KINDS OF DROPS WE USE, AND EACH SERVES ITS DISTINCT PURPOSE. THIS COLOR GUIDE WILL HELP YOU.

THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF OPHTHALMOLOGY (AAO) WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE FDA AND PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY TO STANDARDIZE THE COLOR-CODING OF ALL DROPS.

YOU CAN READ MORE ABOUT THEIR COLOR CODING OF THE DROPS AT AAO'S WEBSITE.
